Kaizzon
One integrated operations platform for commercial specialty contractors: RFIs, submittals, change orders, AIA G702/703 billing, field reports, and live job financials in one system, with Claude writing the daily brief and reports. Contractors own the code and the data, not a subscription.

The problem
A specialty contractor (electrical, mechanical, plumbing) runs every job across five disconnected tools: RFIs and submittals in email, change orders in spreadsheets, billing in accounting software, field notes in text messages. The labor overrun that happened Tuesday surfaces on Friday, an approved change order sits unbilled, a pay application slips past its window.
The big construction platforms cost more every year than a custom build costs once, and crews use a fraction of them. We built Kaizzon to run the whole job, from award to closeout, in one system the contractor owns instead of rents.
What we built
- A portfolio Command Center that ranks every open item by urgency and dollar impact (overdue receivables, jobs at risk, margin fade, unsent pay apps), so the owner sees what’s about to cost them before it does
- Award-to-closeout project management in one system: RFIs, submittals with approval workflows, change orders with cost-estimate worksheets, purchase and material orders, schedule, and field reports filed from a phone
- AIA G702/G703 billing: schedule of values, pay applications, retainage and change-order billing, produced as compliant documents instead of spreadsheets
- Live job financials: cost to complete, projected margin, profit fade, and an always-current snapshot of contract, cost and projected profit
- AI, powered by Anthropic Claude and grounded strictly in each job’s own data: a daily brief, a weekly financial report, meeting-minutes extraction, cross-project Q&A, and drafted chase and escalation emails

How we built it
Kaizzon is our own product: the custom operations software we build for specialty contractors, turned into something any shop can run. We own the whole stack: a Next.js and React front end, a NestJS and PostgreSQL backend, and Claude for the reading and writing, always answering from the job’s own data. It is deliberately not a subscription: each contractor gets their own deployment and owns the code and the data. A build takes four weeks, with a working demo in days.

Where it stands
Kaizzon is built on the project-management platform we run for a US commercial electrical subcontractor. It went live there in August 2026, and since September the office runs its RFIs and material orders through it every day. The public demo runs on a sample contractor, so anyone can click through all 16 modules, from RFIs to pay applications, before talking to us. It is offered to US specialty contractors as a four-week build on their own infrastructure.
